New water, wastewater and transportation system development charge (SDC) methodologies are being proposed for adoption by Albany City Council. The new methodology reports are needed to account for a variety of residential home sizes and their varied impact to city utilities.
Oregon law requires a 90-day notification period prior to the first public hearing for adoption of an SDC methodology modification, and the proposed methodology must be made available 60-days prior to the public hearing. The methodology reports will be made available on or before July 28, 2022. Check this page after July 28 for a link to the methodology reports.
The City of Albany is scheduled to hold a public hearing during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on September 28, 2022, to consider new the methodologies.
