Little River Band

Little River Band

Little River Band garnered huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits in the 70's and 80's. Their worldwide album, CD, and digital downloads amassed more than 350 million. LRB continues to deliver distinctive harmonies and vocal abilities under the direction of 41-year LRB veteran, lead vocalist and bass player Wayne Nelson. To date, Wayne has contributed his talents on 24 of Little River Band's albums/CDs. LRB was honorably dubbed "the best singing band in the world" by Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey. Little River Band has undergone an evolution or two since its origins as an Australian rock band hungry to make it in America. Fans nostalgic for such tunes as "Reminiscing" or "Lady" can join us to hear the current incarnation for a night of fantastic music, memories and more.

Fun Fact: LRB was the first band to have Top 10 Hits for 6 consecutive years! Their song "Reminiscing" has garnered over 5 million air plays on American radio, with "Lady" following close behind with over 4 million air plays.

CJ Mickens Band

When Las Vegas native CJ Mickens performs, everyone stops and watches... and 7 million did when he performed on Season Two (Top 32) of American Idol. In 2012, he won Portland Idol, which added to his collection of musical wins, such as 3 Gold Medals in a row at the NAACP ACTSO Music Program, and winning the Pacific NW Harmony Sweepstakes with his acapella group, Rezonate. His original music is available on iTunes and world-wide platforms. What sets CJ’s hot dance cover band apart is how he draws everyone in with his infectious dancing, strong vocals, and energetic stage presence.

The Friday Night Glow is full of joy and amazement for the entire family: brilliantly-colored balloons tower over the crowd, lighting up the night sky.

Half a dozen balloons participate in one of the Festival’s most popular events, the Night Glow on Friday only at dusk, weather permitting. Balloon pilots and crews set up the colorful fabric envelopes in open area on the east side of Timber-Linn Park, inflate them with hot air while tethered to the ground, and illuminate them in a series of patterns.

Please understand that weather makes a big difference on how the timing of the Night Glow will go. Depending on wind, the balloons might not be able to inflate for very long. We usually luck out and the winds cooperate but it is in mother natures hands.

Seating area opens at 1pm to put blankets and chairs down.

Please note: The night glow happens on Friday night only. (weather permitting)
